Decent pictures of the upcoming Rodarte for Target line have proven to be more elusive than bigfoot himself, but what I've seen so far has mede me really excited: a perfect combination of solid and sheer, lace and tulle, belts and tights. Here are a few pics I snagged off of nymag.com:

I'm not sure if I'm quite ready to walk around pants-less, however the two cardigans on the side are awesome. Long cardigans+belts=love.

Oh the yearning! The yellow ensemble is wonderful along with the black dress on the right. I really like the idea of black lace tights, I just dont know if i would show off the high waistedness (yep thats a word)

I've been on the lookout for new shirts for spring, and these shirts are shweeeeet, though I don't think I can buy any of them. The website is mostly in Japanese (I think) even though most of the shirts with script are in German. hmmm...

My Recent Purchases

I went into town today with the intention of just buying textbooks for my classes (which seem to pretty awesome for the most part), but my resolve was quickly worn down and I purchased a few cool items along the way:

Hello old friends.

Postcards from yet another bookstore. I also bought a Billie Holiday one but left in my friend's bag. Oh darn.

The new Bon Iver album. Do I own a record player? Negative. Did that stop me from buying this, probably my most exciting purchase ever? Nope.

My Bank Statement Makes Me Weep

Well it seems like I have caught the shopping bug. All I want to do is floor it to my nearest shopping mall (without paying any attention to pesky traffic law- psh who stops at red lights?) and buy ridiculous amounts of ridiculously beautiful clothes.

Back to reality. Even though new clothes would be so cute for back to school, not having enough money to buy my criminally expensive textbooks would pose a problem. So instead I shall search the web and pine over the things I want (actually going to a store would just be too painful). Hey, a girl can always dream right?

I Heart T-Shirts

One of my favorite t-shirt websites, threadless.com, is having an awesome sale. I just cant say no to a bargain so i bought three shirts, including one with the design above. Cute no? But beware my friends, online shopping is a dangerous thing. I had to stop myself from buying the whole damn site. Another website that I like to look at is palmercash. There is one shirt in particular that I have had my eye on for a while:

Too bad I can't bring myself to spend $24(or more-I'm talking to you, Mr. Cupcakes) on a t-shirt. I won't do it. So instead I shall pine over this wonderful piece of clothing while crossing my fingers for a sale.
